The chemical absorbent pad, after adding surfactant and undergoing dehydration and greasing treatment, can resist strong acids and alkalies. It is suitable for the adsorption of acids, corrosive liquids, and other chemical liquids and oil products, as well as for leak treatment of hazardous liquids such as acids, corrosive liquids, and others.

It can absorb chemical leaks, especially acidic and corrosive hazardous chemicals including 98% sulfuric acid and 30% sodium hydroxide. Polypropylene materials will not decompose upon contact with irritating or corrosive chemical liquids. Liquid absorbing cotton can also absorb petroleum liquids and aqueous solutions.
